Signed to Rocktopia Records back in 2014, in a similar fashion to their one-two release of their much lauded debut and follow-up ‘Name of the Rose‘ in a 6 month period back in 1996, ‘Albion‘ and ‘Isla De Muerta‘ were released in November 2014 and May 2015 respectively. Both albums gained highly positive reviews with Gaetano Di Falco‘s wonderful art making striking covers. 2015 also saw the release of the ‘Dragon And Saint George‘ EP which contained 3 exclusive bonus tracks. ‘Albion‘ now completely sold out.

Nothing bad to say here, this is a solid EP from a straight forward rock band. Listen to ‘The Hourglass,’ if that chorus, those vocals and for the love of guitar gods, if that solo doesn’t win you over, I’m at a loss. I have no clue why this band is not more well known than they are . . . just buy it.

The albums are NOT remastered and the covers are partial Not quite the originals. For example, they are all simple covers that are Flap cover (Atlantic Crossing, Blondes have more fun) were not taken over exactly.

Nevertheless, the miniature cover look very high-quality, the pressure is really good,And from the sound the CD’s correspond to the previously available editions. A booklet is unfortunately not included, it would have been nice to have a text book But for the price you get a lot of music. I am very satisfied with this publication.

Collecting German rockers Lake’s last two studio albums for Sony from 1980 and 1981. The band achieved European and US success before splitting up in the mid-80s. They reformed in the early 2000s but with a new lineup, with only guitarist Alex Conti surviving from the original personnel. Both records have been digitally remastered and slipcased with new notes.
