RUBICON – LAND OF DREAMS 1992

maxresdefault
The band hails from The Netherlands and they play excellent AOR reminiscent of the late 80s. If you are a fan of the bands Alien and Last Autumns Dream this record is for you. Soaring melodies on all five tracks, including the breathtaking “Show your Love” and “Hold On”. Add in the epic AOR anthem, “Don’TGo” and this is truly a memorable instant classic. Fans of all AOR would love this gem of a release.

Tracks
01. Hold On (4:22),
02. Show Your Love (4:54),
03. Don’t Go (5:25),
04. Land of Dreams (4:43),

thelineofyourfire_dukejupiter
The American collector’s iaor rock band made the 7th album released in ’85 and the collector’s re-release board of the last album. 3 bonus tracks included. Among their work, the album with the most rock color is a masterpiece filled with hard, pop, and tune full of the best.
There is a lot of killer tune lyrics to Bari Bali with the sound which feels soft as well as the FM of 1st, and # 1 songs etc. are famous songs that you can listen to the whole life. It is very good quality made by Collectors CD by German people who carefully work like Japanese, it is about quality to believe even if told official. Of course the press board and the board are luxury named Picture Disk.

Dee Carstensen – Beloved One 1993

carstensen_bo
So too did accomplished percussionist Mike Maineri, who incidentally is the husband of the lady in question: Dee Carstensen. Mostly known as a harpist and coming from a Conservatory background in New York State, She eventually moved into the singer-songwriter field. Dee came together with NYC Records to release this album back in 1993, which is quite a lush studio bound CD. Not quite in the Loreena McKennit mould, but there’s enough to suggest which direction she would follow on future albums.

Wendy Waldman ?– Which Way To Main Street 1982

Of immediate interest is the track ‘Heartbeat’ which kicks things off. This version precedes the one that Don Johnson released in 1986 which became a break-out hit for him. Wendy’s version is fairly raw and boisterous, unlike the smooth AOR of Johnson’s. ‘Fighting It Out In The Heart Of The City’ is as tough as the song-title suggests.
‘We’ll See In The End’ has some energetic moments in the second half of the song, while ‘X-Ray Eyes’ is the quirkiest tune on offer. Tapp
