In September 1975, the rock concert The Butterfly Ball took place in London’s Albert Hall.The film of this epoch-making event was directed by Tony Klingeroma, which combined animation, choreography and staged scenes into one whole rock show. Rock stars of that time took part in the concert -Roger Glover, Eddie Hardin, Jon Lord, Ian Gillan, David Coverdale, Glenn Hughes, John Lawton, Tony Ashton, and others.

Many of you keep asking more from the excellent “Alive The Live” CD series only available in Japan (disc manufactured in Taiwan by King Records). There’s many JUDAS PRIEST bootlegs floating around, but few sound as good as this “Live In New York 1981“. Seriously, sound quality is A+.

In 1980, their LP ‘British Steel’ gave Judas Priest international exposure – next year 1981’s ‘Point Of Entry’ built on the winning formula laid out in its predecessor and would lay the ground for their commercial breakthrough album ‘Screaming For Vengeance’.
