Jolly Joker – Here Come…The Jokers!! (2015)

Front
Valencia Jolly Joker are back with their new album. After the phenomenal Sex, Booze & Tattoos the band returns to surprise us with their second. where again we have a pimp and rock and roll through the sleazy dirty or glam. Sound like Motley Crue, Skid Row, Poison or Hardcore Superstar but always showing originality and freshness in a style .

So Jolly Joker have been able to give birth to a work that has nothing to envy the current style bands and where once again demonstrates that in Spain can also host bands level able to compete with American and European. Returning to drive, it comes before us in a great cover in the style of comics and horror films of series B, Adrian Bago work which is to be applauded for their work. As for the songs, 12 tracks dominated catchy riffs and choruses holidays encouraging the listener to take to the streets for partying and debauchery.

The album opens with Rockin ‘In Stereo, festive, catchy as could be and where we already released the first bomb in its arsenal without us time to prepare. All typical of the genre anthem. Hey You leads the field of sleazy thug where guitars take over the song. Something similar happens with Sidewalks where the combo formed by Yannick and guitarists Eddie seems to work perfectly. At No Way Out highlights the rhythm section (with a phenomenal job of Kickstarts) and the voice of Lazy Lane digging into the brain. The Showgirls melodic, more rock and dance brings aromas of the eighties with typical chorus of Motley Crue and Skid Row. We arrived at Ecuador disc with Ride On, slightly heavier on the guitars and where the formula is repeated choruses. Full Of Beans is one of those catchy cuts and holidays bailones Jolly Joker hardly know how to create flashing. With an American sound that seems to have been composed in California, lighter and leave us wanting cheerful holiday in the body.
Perfect Life has a beginning guitar and rhythm inspired by the same AC / DC to make way for a more rock and hard topic that does not clash and they have very vacilón. Bak Way Home can relax in a melodic ballad that touches court. They soon return to the fray with the strong King Size with large doses of chorus and wah-wah guitar solo for framing. The intro of low Damned is the best of the song, which also Yannick guitar makes traveling with us to effect changes. Finally No Place To Go us farewell with a dirtier and cocky rock that makes you happy on this trip by the sound of Jolly Joker end. Second while Jolly Joker are marked. A disc that play tug and several times without getting tired and keep asking for more. If you are someone who yearns for the golden age of American hard rock, dirty and sleazy provocateur, this album is a must-listen, but it’s even attending one of their live, where to win you really end.
