German melodic rock band Fair Warning got their turn in 2014 with the succinctly-titled The Box. Here’s what you get (and don’t get) inside:
Disc 1: Go! (1997) – This is the band’s third, and arguably their best, studio album. Unfortunately all of the bonus tracks (b-sides and alternate versions) that appeared on the individual release are not included.
Disc 2: Live and More (1998) – This is probably the most disappointing part of this box. Live and More was originally a 2-disc set, with a full live disc and a second disc with 7 rare tracks. Here we get the live disc with three of the extra tracks tacked on. They’d have been better off just giving us the “More” disc.
Disc 3: Four (2000) – This is the band’s fourth studio album, and is almost as good as Go! It has so many classic Fair Warning songs.
Disc 4: Brother’s Keeper (2006) – This is the band’s comeback fifth studio album. Unfortunately it is missing the bonus track “Still I Believe” from the original Frontiers release.
Disc 5: Aura (2009) – This is the band’s sixth album. We actually get the full album here, minus the multimedia content the original AOR Heaven pressing had.
