VARIOUS ARTISTS – Snaggletooth, A Tribute To Lemmy 2016

MOTHERHEAD are no more. The light design Lemmy Kilmister left us. Sure, it was clear in the last months of his life that it was coming to an end. Nevertheless, it still feels strange, a world without Lemmy. One of the last real rock stars, the last personages in rock, rock’n’roll, metal – whatever – in a world becoming increasingly poorer in such authorities.

Even in the hard music world, where our cuddly, virtual pamphlet moves, there are hardly any real musicians with charisma. Metal and rock’n’roll have long been a mass product. We are no longer few, no more conspiratorial community of ou

ART X – The Redemption Of Cain 2016

ART X is a student project by Gabriele Bernasconi from Como, Italy. “The Redemption Of Cain” is a Prog concept album based on a classic of the Fantasyl literature. The story of Cain and his brother Abel has not yet been filmed by Peter Jackson, but I would not be surprised if the busy New Zealander of this chapter takes up the silmarillion of clerical literature, “The Bible.”

Loadead – Taste The Power (2009)

259174
This is the only full album by this power trio from Liège. The band’s guitarplayer was Azill, a one time member of Hiatus, one of the finest (crust) punk band to ever come out of Belgium. This is something different though, Motörhead is the obvious biggest influence on the sound but they take cues from all of the metal that shone throughout the eighties and mix that up with the ‘straight for the eye’ attitude of their crust punk roots.
