Castle – Castle (1990)

The album is very rare and noted in many wanted lists but personally with this production I wouldn’t pay the amount I have seen in the market. The band sound like a very low budget 70’s band although we are talking for 1990. The band had a good vocalist, great guitar riffs, some nice key parts and a good songwriting that could be better.

The rocking “Fairytale Love Affair” and the beautiful ballad “Torn In Two” are the best moments of the record. These guys mix and match musical styles, all very subtle and you hardly notice as elements of pomp, symphonic crash head on with tough hard rock/near metal but the production for once more destroyed everything. If you are a die hard collector make a search…
