Canadian hard rockers Phoenix In Flames have announced that they will be releasing their first full-length album entitled Look Out! on February 24, 2017.
Great hard rock act from Columbus, Ohio and this is actually a collection of their records between 1988 — 1990. The band formed in the mid ’88 by Rick Soga and drummer Danny Boyd after their departure from Godz.
The first line up consist by Rick Soga and Steve Mitchell on guitars, Tommy Jon on vocals (real name Tommy Gianikos), Danny Boyd on drums and bassist Ty Tyler(real name Todd Berry). Ty eventually replacing Johns with Joey C. Jones (ex-Sweet Savage, real name Joe Crabtree).
In January 1989 Boyd amicably departed and was replaced by Ken Koudelka. In autumn 1989, keyboardist Les Farrington was hired by Shock Tu to provide live and sampled backing vocals in an off-stage capacity. There’s a little bit of country, rockabilly, rock & roll, pretty ballads. Love the guitars, piano, lap steel & slide guitar in the background. They don’t make music like this anymore folks.

My favorite song is “Make It Real.” I just love that song. That is why i bought this cd. I know that is kinda stupid, to buy a cd just because of one song, but it is done all the time. And buying a cd because of that one song that you heard on the radio, or saw on mtv, doesn’t make the rest of the cd great. That one song could be the only good song on this cd. But in Glimmer’s case, it isn’t. Although i love “Make It Real” the best, the whole cd in general was excellent. I listen to this cd at least once a day. I would recommend this cd to anyone who likes alternative or rock/pop. S
