For frontman Joe Elliott, it was an opportunity to showcase the band at this stage in their career at one of those shows where everything went just right.

Warpath, originally formed in 1991, reunited in 2015 after they went on hiatus in 1996. In 2015, Warpathstill had its original line-up. In 2016 and after 19 years, the band once again entered the studio, but with a new line-up, to record new material.
