Samson first came to notice as part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal right at the end of the 1970’s. This stunning double CD takes us through this great rock band’s entire career from those early days right up to the present. I first heard Samson on the “Metal for Muthas” compilation album that showcased some of those NWOBHM bands. The track on that album was “Tomorrow or Yesterday” and it is featured here as are a couple of other really early songs, most notably the live favourite “Mr Rock & Roll”.
