Scorpions – In Trance (Japanese Edition) 1975

In Trance is the third studio album by German rock band Scorpions, released by RCA Records in 1975. It is the first album by the band to contain the now-famous logo and controversial artwork.

Pond – The Weather (2017)

Australian psych rockers Pond share members with Tame Impala, as well as a penchant for arena-sized 1970s rock. Their new album mixes bright synths, campy detours, and grim lyrics.

The two bands share a penchant for grand, arena-sized music that carries the torch for 1970s classic rock. But where Parker is sedate onstage, Pond combine feral enthusiasm with goofy recklessness, their baroque suites draped in punkish basement-show charm.
