1989’s Behind the Eight-Ball is the debut album from German rockers Thunderhead. Not quite Hollywood-style hair metal, and not as polished as their countrymen Bonfire,Thunderhead had a hard-hitting but still catchy and melodic, straightforward rock n’ roll sound. Sort of like Y&T but with a raspier vocalist.
