One and only released from Ontario based rock band Weathervane came out in 1997 in a handful of copies. Not much is known about the band. They have their own style with tunes cross between hard rock and rock with hard edge guitar riffs with lush keyboards and vocals. Extremely rare to be found.

Dirty Blond was formed in 1986, and played the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey circuit. The band, which had a successful initial run from 1999 to 2003, got caught up with life, while members went separate directions to persue their own muses. But in 2013 a ten-year reunion show rekindled the spark and eventually lead the five-piece modern rock band back to the studio for this self-titled release. All songs are written by lead singer Mark Sundermeier, or they’re co-writes between him and lead guitarist Kirk Schneider, and they run the gamut from straight-forward modern rockers to more classic-rock romps.

If you like Jefferson Starship and Mickey Thomas’s vocals, you’ll love this album. I’ve been checking Amazon frequently over the years looking for this album on CD and it’s finally here. Great album.
