“Call That Girl” marks the band’s first studio LP since 1990’s “Playa Del Rock”. Mixed by famed producer Dennis Ward, the album was produced and written by Nadir D’Priest and includes contributions by old friends like Chuck Wright (QUIET RIOT), Teddy Andreadis (GUNS N’ ROSES, ALICE COOPER), Jack Frost (SEVEN WITCHES), Alfredo Ballesteros (THE POINTER SISTERS), Eddie St. James (TRANCE, RICHARD GRIECO) and Shrapnel Records’ own Mike Varney.

Founded by Nikki Sixx in 1978, LONDON is well known for its outlandish antics and over-the-top stage shows. This was featured prominently in “The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years” film, which was inducted into the Library of Congress National Film Registry in 2016.

Tobias Sammet comments the songs on the exclusive rock hard EP “More Moonglow” Moonglow “is a number that originally came in its raw version from the year 2015, but only in mid-2018 was completely finished. At the beginning I did not have a specific singer for the track in my head, although I already had a vocal color in mind. At some point a voice appeared to my voice in the eye and it was clear to me that Candice Night had to take over the female vocals here. I find Blackmore’s Night extraordinary, also because of its natural and innocent vocal coloration. However, in retrospect, I would say that this number, albeit unconsciously, was more influenced by Mike Oldfield. “

“To thine own self be true”, Shakespeare wrote, and since the late 90s Norwegian visionary rock outfit Ribozyme has taken this to heart, even so with their latest brainchild. The aptly named “Argute” is a shrewd take on contemporary hard rock, bringing their signature vocals and harmonies in line with the times- four years after the release of the critically acclaimed “Grinding Tune”. This metamorphosis is emphasized by the addition of guitarist Thomas Lønnheim to the group, adding an extra dimension to the creative sphere of Kjartan Ericsson, Cato Olaisen and Lord Baard.

Germany’s first female hard rock act Rosy Vista was around for five years between 1984 and 1989. During this time, the group from Hanover, helmed by guitarist Anca Graterol, released one professionally produced EP and two singles. In addition, the band performed a multitude of spectacular concerts alongside legends such as Uriah Heep, Joe Cocker, Manfred Mann´s Earth Band and Mötley Crüe, among others. So the only career dream left unfulfilled for the five band members was a proper album.

On 8th February 2019, Eric Gales returns with his brand new album The Bookends on Provogue/Mascot Label Group and it features collaborations with B. Slade, Doyle Bramhall II and Beth Hart.

The challenge for making The Bookends was for Gales to challenge himself. “As a guitar player it’s been established that I can play a little bit, just a little bit,” he smiles. But for this album he not only wanted to push himself as a musician, but also as a vocalist, to build up his vocal discography. “What spearheaded that was the artists that I have on the record,” he says.
