Opiate² is a special limited edition pack that includes a reimagined and expanded version of the classic TOOL track. The song is featured on a blu-ray that features a groundbreaking short film directed by Dominic Hailstone. Bonus features include insight and observation from special guests. This blu-ray disc comes in a special 46-page hardback art book that includes fragrances and photos.

The song was originally released in 1992. TOOL performed this version of the song live on tour, but this is the first time a studio version of this song has been made available, complete with stunning visuals in a commemorative package.

This one was requested here alongside ”Baby Talk”: all the recording demos from American melodic hard rockers FRICTION released by the band in limited quantities under the title “Un-Mastered – Never Released 1982-1988“.

The compilation title speaks for itself: these are the songs Friction wrote and demoed in the Eighties while shopping labels: there’s harder rocker from 1982, more AORish keyboard driven tunes from 1984, and typical US melodic rockers from 1986-87-88.
