very happy to share with you today “Eis”, the debut full-length record by Vienna, Austria -based atmospheric metallers LOATHER, which will be coming out on June 23rd via Vendetta Records!
After releasing a demo, two EP‘s (the last one being 2019s “Haganvelt”), the band’s first proper full-length album displays LOATHER’s growth in many ways. LOATHER has been continuously blurring the lines of European underground metal since 2016 and the bands ongoing creative evolution has finally been crystallized in their most developed body of work, coming out in 2023 on Vendetta Records.
As the name suggests, LOATHER’s “Eis” (German for “ice”) is a rather chilling affair.
