This record is a testament to the power of music, and more specifically Hard Rock/Metal/Glam/Punk without which I’d be less of a person.

The album contains 13 songs that I’ve at one time or another played in the various original bands I’ve been part of over the years. They also tell the listener who I am as a musician, and probably more importantly who I am as a person. It might sound glib to say, but these songs have soundtracked my life, brought me strength and solace in the dark times, and have kept me from settling for the easy life.

The Null Rays are a hard rock/metal/punk recording project who performed in RI & MA between 1998 – 2010 using the names of the Null Rays and/or Nocturnal Sun. The band “re-formed” in 2020 to record and release their music.

For Hard Rock fans and collectors, having the two major-label SLAVE RAIDER albums on CD has been akin to finding the Holy Grail. Since neither offering from the costumed Minnesotans sold a lick on CD, finding a copy would typically cost a small fortune.

The first Slave Raider album Take the World By Storm is a really good one, but my favorite always was their more ambitious 2nd CD “What Do You Know About Rock ‘N Roll?“.
