In 1972, Ian Anderson wrote and recorded JETHRO TULL’s classic prog rock album Thick As A Brick. The lyrics for this album are written from the perspective of a fictional character, a child named Gerald Bostock, whose parents lied about his age. The album reached number one on the Billboard charts and was a huge success in many countries around the world.
