Album-oriented rock (abbreviated AOR) is an American FM radio format focusing on album tracks by rock artists. AOR evolved from progressive rock radio in the mid-1970s, using research and formal programming to create an album rock format with greater commercial appeal.
Although this album was released only in Japan, the name of Brett Raymond became recognized steadily among AOR/Westcoast Music lovers over the world because of high quality of his music featuring Brett’s soft and gentle pop vocals.

In 1987 Fayetteville, North Carolina band GIBRALTAR self-released one of the best melodic rock/AOR records to ever shamefully go unnoticed by the greater masses.
Formed in 1980 by high schoolmates Frank Fournier on Bass, Eric Page on Guitars, Jerry Everly on Drums, David Garcia on Keyboards and vocalist Roy Cathy. GIBRALTAR worked, and they worked hard! Great collection of most of the band’s hits through their various lineups since 1978.It sucks that some of their other hits such as “Cruel” (from “Mindfields”), “Angel Don’t Cry” (from “Isolation”), & “Goodbye Elenore” (from “Turn Back”) are not on here. But then again for a band that’s been around since the late ’70’s & has continuously been recording & releasing new material since then, there’s not room for every single, both international & US.
