Brazilian/American metallers SEPULTURA will release their new studio album, “Machine Messiah”, on January 13 via Nuclear Blast. Inspired by the robotization of our society, the disc was produced by the band and Jens Bogren (SOILWORK, OPETH, KATATONIA, AMON AMARTH) of Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden. The CD’s stunning cover artwork was created by Filipino artist Camille Della Rosa.

This album was a labor of love. I had great musicians taking my music to the next level. Especially the colaboration with singer Udo Maurer proofed to be most valuable. We converted two instrumental tracks into great classic rock songs (Mirrors and On My Way, both available as lyric videos). As creative as we were we also did write two new tracks, although a bit more groovy, like harder blues rock. My music is very melodic and catchy. Don’t get fooled by the more Satriani-like opener that is heavier and more technical, playing-wise. There are ballads and mid-tempo tracks on there also. A personal highlight is the odd-metere
