Immortal Guardian comprises some of the most talented artists I’ve seen and their humility sets them apart, hindering the capacity to flaunt it (not a bad thing in my opinion). You’ll not likely find another group with this much devotion to the craft.

This masterpiece owes a great deal to its producer Tommy Vetterli (KREATOR, CORONER) who recorded «Keep Your Love Loud» at the New Sound Studio (ELUVEITIE, BATTALION) and piloted JACK SLAMER through their album production with honest and direct feedback.
Even unconventional ideas were given room and they clearly added to the sound without trying to reinvent the wheel itself. This appetite can be heard on the ZZ-Top inspired ‘Magic Woman’, the heavy disco beat of ‘Brother’, the Darbuka performance in ‘Favorite Enemy’, or the swirling bassline in ‘Stumbled’. All this keeps JACK SLAMER far from being a classic rock’n’roll five piece and shows how the sense of family can be found at the roots of this band.

Altenessen, a social melting-pot deep in the heart of the Ruhr Area. From the mid-19th century, the region supplied Europe’s industrialisation with the required raw materials, mined under back-breaking conditions below ground in coal pits named Carl, Anna, Fritz-Heinrich, Helene and the like. Altenessen is also the musical domicile of Tom Angelripper, vocalist/bassist of German metal act Sodom, who has met for some years with his band members in a ratty rehearsal room in that part of Essen to produce tough-as-nails thrash music.

Trust is a French hard rock band from Paris founded in 1977. The band is best known for guitarist Norbert “Nono” Krief’s prowess, for Bernard “Bernie” Bonvoisin’s voice reminiscent of AC/DC’s Bon Scott and for his lyrics about social and political themes. Iron Maiden’s drummers Nicko McBrain and Clive Burr were part of Trust line-up in the 1980s.
Trust was founded in 1977 by Bernard “Bernie” Bonvoisin (vocals, lyricist), Norbert “Nono” Krief (guitar, composer), Raymond “Ray” Manna (bass guitar) and Jean-Émile “Jeannot” Hanela (drums). The band released its first single “Prends Pas Ton Flingue” (“Don’t Take Your Gun with You”) the same year.
